About the Role
Growth Bets at Uber are 0-to-1 initiatives with potential to scale to the next multi-billion dollar business in the next 3-5 years. We are looking to bring onboard a seasoned & entrepreneurial product manager with demonstrated experience building early-stage consumer products, to join the founding team for one such Growth Bet at UberEats.
In this founding role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end transaction experience for the initiative. This is a global product role based out of Bengaluru, India. In the first year, this role might require occasional international travel (once in 4 months) to the pilot market for user research & feedback post launch.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Define the strategy, scope & success metrics for a product at pre-PMF stage
- Partner with UX research, design, data science, engineering & product operations teams to deeply understand user needs, competitive landscape, and to scope, build & iterate products that delight and deliver 10x value to customers.
- Collaborate with operations, product marketing, global account management teams to define the GTM / launch strategy and drive execution. Constantly monitor product performance & feedback, learn & iterate.
- Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, including internal & external partners and leadership teams.
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience as a product manager with a track record of partnering with engineering, design, data science and business functions to deliver successful projects at scale.
- 3+ years of experience building & iterating on early-stage (0-1 / 1-10) consumer products, that involved extensive customer research and close collaboration with design & operations teams.
- Demonstrated experience of independently running user research, defining PMF goals, scoping MVP, building iterative roadmaps and driving cross-functional execution on new initiatives / projects with high ambiguity.

- Prior entrepreneurial experience in consumer product domain, as a founder or a founding team member
- 3+ years experience leading New Initiatives at larger tech organizations
- Prior experience working with global teams and/or solving for a global customer base
