About the Role
You will join Uber's North Asia Strategy & Planning Team. This team fulfills a key business partner function within the organization, working to distill business insights to craft an informed strategy, champion effective growth investments and enable organizational efficiency.
Your Impact in Role
- Drive the strategic decision-making processes throughout the region through your analytical and operational approach.
- Set a vision and solve problems from 30,000 feet as well as dive deep into the details.
- Working across different functions and geographies will mean you will have considerable visibility of business operations to drive substantial business outcomes.
- You will set the growth strategy, competitive strategy, Governance & Reporting, as well as overall planning

The Experience You'll Bring
- Highly developed business judgment and critical thinking skills with strong data driven mentality to quickly to identify the highest value priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
- Clear and concise communicator, able to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take-aways, and disseminate practical insights
- Super data driven - we use data to advise our decisions. You'll quickly identify what data you need to solve a problem and how to analyze it to get to the answer. You'll have experience dealing with sophisticated data sets, deriving insights and checking against what you see in the real-world
- Explorer - the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the insight we require will make you much more effective in this role. Self-starter mentality is a must!
- Flexibility to travel
- Fluency / Proficiency in Korean language is a plus
- Strategy consulting and/or in-house strategy experiences preferred
- Working experiences in North Asia preferred
