The Uber mobile networking team is responsible for managing the mobile networking stack and functionalities across all Uber apps, focusing on connectivity, observability, and user experience. As an Android mobile networking engineer, you will collaborate with the most brilliant mobile engineers to enhance user experience, reduce mobile networking latency, and ensure the security and reliability of Uber's mobile applications. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for driving key innovations and leading other junior engineers, setting technical direction and fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Contributions to open-source projects related to mobile networking.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year.
