About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Senior Site Merchandising Manager to join Uber's Grocery & Retail team. In this key role, you'll lead and execute merchandising strategy across 11 countries in the EMEA region, helping to create a world-class shopping experience and drive category growth.
You'll be responsible for the success of seasonal campaigns and category management efforts across multiple markets, while supporting merchant growth and collaborating with cross-functional teams in consumer ops, marketing, and product. You'll leverage local and regional insights to ensure a compelling, localized, and seamless consumer journey - and will play a critical role in elevating merchandising standards across all touchpoints, in and out of app.

What You'll Do
Multi-Market Merchandising & Curation
- Own merchandising content and curation across 11 EMEA markets, including collections, landing pages, storefronts, vertical feeds, and aisle structures.
- Guide what goes live and when across regional markets, balancing consistency with local nuance.
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end development of high-impact campaigns across EMEA.
- Manage campaign calendars across categories and markets, ensuring alignment with product priorities, seasonal and cultural moments, and merchant-specific needs.
Consumer Journey & Storytelling
- Act as the voice of the consumer across EMEA, using performance data, feedback, and trends to inform and optimize the shopping experience.
- Shape the narrative of how users engage with Grocery & Retail - and use it to drive cross-functional alignment and innovation.
Category Management
- Own assortment strategy and category performance across markets.
- Partner with operations and analytics to improve range, catalog quality, and sales outcomes.
Data-Led Optimization
- Use insights and KPIs to continually refine merchandising strategies, campaigns, and placements.
- Report on platform health and performance by market, with clear actions and recommendations.
Strategic Initiatives & Opportunities
- Identify new opportunities for merchandising innovation, product features, partnerships, or go-to-market moments.
- Collaborate with global and local teams to prioritize and deliver impact across all markets.
What You'll Need
- 5+ years in merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field
- Proven experience owning multi-country or regional merchandising strategy within the EMEA region or in similarly complex markets, with demonstrated success tailoring campaigns and assortments to diverse customer needs and cultural contexts.
- Experience managing or mentoring direct reports or dotted-line contributors, as the role has potential for people management
- Strong portfolio of high-performing merchandising campaigns, with measurable impact on customer engagement, conversion, and/or sales growth - ideally across both in-app and external channels.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred
- Strong analytical skills and data fluency across markets
- Proven cross-functional collaboration experience in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management and prioritization abilities across multiple concurrent initiatives
- A test-and-learn mindset focused on consumer impact, engagement, and conversion
