This role will focus on expanding the capabilities of our Tax and Compliance platform and FinTech services, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a seamless experience for partners, merchants, riders, and eaters worldwide.

Who We Are
The Tax & Compliance Product Team is responsible for all tax and compliance-related product infrastructure, services, and operations across Uber's multiple business lines as part of the FinTech organization. We are organized into 7 different product teams, working closely with each other and supporting multiple client groups within the organization who need our services in order to fulfill both internal company demands as well as external user-facing needs.
What We Do
We are responsible for building the infrastructure and applications for issuing receipts that people get at the end of each Uber service, and we generate financial and tax documents such as tax invoices and other reporting.
We are also responsible for tax calculations related to trips and deliveries performed on the platform. We issue the relevant tax invoices for partners who earn on the platform and monitor government regulations to help partners remain compliant with local laws.
We use Slack and gChat for messaging, JIRAs for support tickets and releases, Zoom for video conferencing, Google Docs for collaboration, and Figma for designs and prototypes.
What You'll Do
As a Senior Product Manager, you'll have a range of responsibilities, including:
1. Elicit business requirements to help with the development of products and features.
2. Construct and lead the execution of the product roadmap and multi-year programs.
3. Develop new use cases to detail the needs of Tax, Ops, Legal, and Compliance teams.
4. Partner with Legal and Tax teams to interpret evolving regulatory requirements and translate them into scalable product features.
5. Conduct stakeholder interviews and demos to gather insights and inform designs.
6. Drive the long-term strategy of the Tax invoices product development.
7. Implement, track, and improve on defined product KPIs.
8. Provide the engineering team with support throughout the development lifecycle.
9. Provide quality assurance support when launching new products and systems, proofread messaging, and monitor the quality and performance of different campaigns.
10. Contribute to content development projects to build partner messaging and marketing collateral for our product marketing and compliance campaigns.
11. Hold training sessions to help internal customers build their understanding of our systems and processes.
Who You'll Work With
You'll work directly with engineering, design, product operations, and data teams to build and ship new products. You'll also interact with a number of client groups throughout Uber and Fintech organizations, including Tax, Compliance, Payments, Legal, Operations, CRM, and the various stakeholders across the different lines of business.

What You'll Need
1. 7+ years of professional experience as a product management or product owner
2. Previous experience in the Fintech domain
3. Experience owning product development from inception to launching in production
4. Deep analytical experience and technical understanding
5. Large-scale, global project management experience with agile methodologies
6. Experience working with remote teams
7. Excellent communication, the ability to engage internal and external customers
8. Deep understanding of the user experience
9. Ability to document, track, and execute on large-scale requirements
10. Solid track record managing senior stakeholders and operating in a cross-functional environment
11. Strong time management, prioritization skills, and ability to navigate uncertainty
12. Solid understanding of software development process and dependencies (e.g., project phases, QA, bug fixes, etc.)
13. Fluency in English and Bulgarian
