About the Role
Are you an AI/ML enthusiast? Do you enjoy discussing exceptionally technical AI/ML topics in depth? Does building the future of Ubers AI/ML ecosystem thrill you? If yes, read on!
At Uber, Machine Learning is extensively utilized across all product lines to deliver a seamless and magical user experience. We use ML to predict EAT (Estimated Time of Arrival) for rides and ETD (Estimated Time of Delivery ) for delivery orders, intelligently match riders with drivers, recommend restaurants and dishes for UberEats users, detect fraudulent transactions, and automate customer support, among other applications.
To enhance the ML dev experience, ensure ML quality, and drive ML adoption and innovation at Uber, the Uber AI Platform team has built Michelangelo, one of the industry's first end-to-end ML platforms, from the ground up. Michelangelo provides industry-leading tools and capabilities for Uber's ML developers to train, tune, serve, monitor, and debug ML models at scale. Today, 100% of Uber's business-critical ML applications and use cases are managed and served on Michelangelo, from classic ML, to deep learning, and generative AI.
