About the Role
Uber is transforming the future of Grocery & Retail, building the world's best and biggest marketplace for on-demand delivery of all local commerce. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for driving forward our consumer growth strategy and operations. The role is global in scope (sits within the Global Growth team of Grocery & Retail), spanning 20+ markets, with special emphasis on 11 priority markets.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams(e.g., Product, Product Ops, DS, GCRM, Comm Ops) to build and execute our consumer growth strategy for GR, including driving actionable insights/analyses
- Data analysis to derive granular insights, and translate them into actionable workstreams to drive sustainable growth for different markets
- Develop a deep expertise in strategic products in your capacity as global product champion to ensure product development is in line with global business priorities
- Act as a bridge and ensure alignment between other global teams (Product, GCRM, Marketing, etc.) and Local Ops teams, maintaining a steady pulse on growth initiatives around the world and ensuring that these initiatives are aligned towards a common direction
- Drive operational excellence by standardizing best practices globally and building / launching scalable tools and processes

Basic Qualifications:
- 4+ years' experience in strategy, analytics, growth, product, consulting or related fields
- Proficiency with SQL and Excel
- Experience in data storytelling
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business administration, analytics, finance or mathematics
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years' experience in strategy, analytics, growth, product, consulting or related fields
- Track record of effective partnership management with a wide variety of external stakeholders at relatively senior levels
- Data-driven decision-making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back your analysis up with relevant analytical thinking
- Self-motivated and able to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills; proven ability to balance multiple critical tasks and consistently deliver against hard deadlines
- Experience supporting a grocery or retail product, preferably within a digital or ecommerce format
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$112,000 per year - USD$124,000 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$124,000 per year - USD$137,500 per year.
