About the Role
The Growth & Operations Manager role is part of our Northern Europe rides organization. Together with the General Manager for Ireland, this role will be the lead in driving Uber's growth and success across Ireland.
This hands-on role calls for a combination of customer obsession, savvy analytics, critical thinking, and strong execution skills. You will have to think creatively to find ways to continuously enhance Uber's value proposition to our users (riders & drivers) and optimise their experience of using the Uber app in Ireland.
You will act as the local market lead, managing both implementation of our global and regional programs, and driving your own local growth and improvement projects. You will help set the vision and strategy for the market together with the Northern Europe leadership team by driving customer insight to create rider/driver proposition.

What you'll do
- Rider acquisition and engagement: Develop and lead customer insights for riders and utilise this to create propositions for new users and use cases.
- Driver acquisition and engagement: Craft and implement the vision, strategy and day to day tactics for driver partner acquisition and engagement through data-centric analytics, creative campaigns, and partnership programs
- Develop and manage partnerships: Develop and manage strategic partnerships with local partners (venues / businesses / clubs etc.) to leverage marketing distribution channels
- Project management: Strategically lead multiple projects in the Irish business and assume responsibility for communicating progress/challenges with senior stakeholders
- Cross-functional collaboration and partner management: Work collaboratively with local, regional and global teams like policy, communications, product, marketing, legal and customer support
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in a technology/consulting/or other fast-paced operational environment
- Minimum of 1.5 years experience working in Ireland required.
- Project management skills: You have a proven understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can implement projects
- Analytical skills: You can independently extract data from a variety of sources and use it to generate useful insights (SQL, data analytics, and visualization skills preferable)
Preferred Qualifications
- Stakeholder management: You can represent Uber in front of key stakeholders (including Government, Regulator, Driver Groups, Commercial Partners) and build strong working relationships.
- Teamwork: You have the ability to work with cross-functional leads to prioritise initiatives for Ireland. You demonstrate optimism, respect others and work well in a team.
- Business Insight: Understanding of how our business operates, competitive pressures and which initiaitives are most effective to create a balanced marketplace between riders and drivers
