About the Role
The Uber for Business Team is looking for a sharp and highly motivated individual to join our team! We need creative thinkers and builders with previous sales experience who are passionate about commercial businesses. You'll be on the frontlines introducing Uber to organizations while developing and executing strategies to meet both short and long term goals.
The Account Manager will play a pivotal role to build and execute the growth plans for the top-tier customers in the region. The ideal talent will excel in the collaborational excellence with cross functional teams, and be able to go deeper cultivating and growing new use cases, products, teams to fully extract the potential while consistently keeping up the retention.
Your Impact in Role
- Plan, Do, Act, and Execute through the growth plans of every designated account.
- Analyze the long-term path for the book of business, and breakdown into short-term strategies with solid and feasible executions.
- Understand the full upside of your book of business and the unlock needed to head toward; Conduct a series of sales processes to achieve the quotas, such as business reviews, account expansion, upselling / cross-selling, and building strong partnerships.
- Identify customer needs, understand the business drivers behind requests, and leverage the Uber for Business value proposition to achieve mutual goals.
- Wear multiple hats across Strategy & Planning (framing), Lead Generation (prospecting), Deal Negotiation (closing), Implementation (launching/ onboarding).
- Beyond the internal U4B team, collaborate cross-functionally externally with core Mobility and Delivery teams to drive resourcing to support customers' success.
- Be the advocate of your book of business and drive positive testimonials from the ever-growing relationships and partnerships.
The Experience You'll Bring
- Minimum 6 years of B2B / B2B2C sales experience in an account management function
- Analytical skills and ability to extract trends and insights from customers data
- Ability to engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders independently
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills with solid proactiveness
Preferred Qualifications
- Good with articulation, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
- Experience with both B2B direct sales and B2B2C channel management
- Ability to use insights and data-driven decision making to drive the sales progression
- Developing sales strategies and market pitch to respond to a dynamic market landscape
