About the Role

As a Strategy & Planning Associate for the Scalable Cities Territory in Mexico, you'll play a key role in helping us achieve our strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth analysis, creating insightful reports, and executing strategic projects to drive the performance of our cities.

This position combines expertise in analytical methods and languages, including SQL and Python, along with cross-functional collaboration, project management, and operational tasks. If you thrive in dynamic, ambiguous environments, are a self-starter, and have a curiosity-driven approach to generating data-based insights, this role is for you.

  • Grow the Business: Design and implement scalable solutions to drive growth and maximize the performance of our cities.
  • Own Territory Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on territory metrics, lead team meetings to review results, and align priorities.
  • Develop Tools and Processes: Automate and optimize tools and processes that support operations and growth in the territory.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Projects: Work with diverse teams to drive performance improvements in the territory.
  • Be the Point of Contact: Serve as the main contact for operations and cross-functional teams, assessing the impact of projects on our cities.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience
  • A quantitative Bachelor's degree (engineering, mathematics, finance, economics, physics, etc.)
  • Experience in business consulting, analytics, tech operations, investment banking, financial or operational forecasting, or in a fast-growing startup
  • Strong data-driven problem-solving and strategic thinking skills, with a background in addressing complex analytical challenges
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets and analytical methods
  • Experience with Python
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience sharing data and insights with diverse audiences
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Professional proficiency in English
