As the Mid Market Sales Manager in Berlin, you will be hands-on, working to expand our business by acquiring new strategic customers. You will oversee the sales activities, from initial outreach to deal closure, ensuring we scale our impact in the mid-market space.
What the Candidate Will Do
Sales Lifecycle Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Track and report sales activities using CRM tools.
Negotiation & Deal-Making:
- Lead complex negotiations and secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Stay informed on competitive offerings and industry trends.
Market & Platform Expertise:
- Keep up with industry trends and market developments.
- Demonstrate platform value and collaborate with marketing/product teams to align strategies.
Customer Focus:
- Build strong client relationships and provide exceptional customer service.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering solutions that drive business value.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales execution.
- Communicate sales performance to senior leadership.
Sales Leadership:
- Mentor and lead the sales team with a focus on performance and improvement.
- Set expectations, provide coaching, and drive development programs.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience (ideally in SaaS and/or leading sales teams)
- Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
- Strong use of insights and data-driven decision-making to inform the sales process
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing sales team.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Extensive Experience in Sales: Proven track record of success in managing and closing B2B sales deals within the German market, with an in-depth understanding of the local business landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
- Strong Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers, to drive sales and foster partnerships.
- Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to craft and execute data-driven sales strategies that align with business objectives, coupled with strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
- Fluency in German and English: Bilingual proficiency in both German and English, with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and present to clients and internal teams in both languages, ensuring clear and impactful communication across diverse audiences.
