What You'll Do
The Uber Eats Sales Manager will lead a team of high-performing Account Representatives and Account Executives, overseeing their efforts in outreach, negotiation, relationship building and merchant onboarding. Success requires a strategic mindset, the ability to set geo-level commercial strategies, and strong people leadership to guide your team in achieving key business metrics. Equally important is a people-first approach, ensuring the development and growth of your individual contributors. Bonus points if you have experience in the local restaurant industry!
Sales Lifecycle Management
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new customers
- Monitor the sales pipeline and forecast revenue
- Guide account executives through the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals

Negotiation and Deal-Making
- Assist Account Executives in closing high-value deals
- Oversee contract negotiations and approval processes
- Develop strategies to overcome objections and accelerate deal closure
Market and Platform Expertise
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics
- Ensure the team has comprehensive knowledge of the company's products or services
Sales Coaching
- Track progress against sales targets for the team and individual account executives. Identify potential risks to achieving sales targets. Hold a high bar for performance and proactively manage performance where needed
- Effectively roadmap team's activities. Demonstrate understanding of inputs required from team members for success in key tasks; rebalance workload or adjust priorities accordingly.
- Articulate clear vision and areas of strategic focus (including areas to be deprioritized for efficiency) and translate this into actionable plans for team members
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience (high volume, lead generation, outbound prospecting), or 3+ years with relevant Uber experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience leading sales teams OR Equivalent internal uber experience
- Previous experience on client-facing roles, leading teams with client-facing roles, or on a commercially-adjacent Ops team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous sales leadership experience
- Extensive track record of coaching and developing people and building high-performing sales teams
- Experience using data to identify sales opportunities and improving team performance
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and partner management
- Experience project leading and being the point of contact to business
- Proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally to achieve goals, and succeeding in a team environment
- Customer Empathy - A customer-first, customer-always mindset and a passion for working directly with customers.
- Highly organized, proactive, responsive, and efficient. Detail-oriented and results-focused with a passion for project management.
- Strong professional verbal and written communication. Ability to be credible with senior audiences.
- Advanced in one or all of Google Sheets/Excel, Salesforce, SQL
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$140,000 per year - USD$155,000 per year.
