The Japan Rider Operations team is on a mission to fuel the growth of our long term Active Rider base, through increasing awareness and consideration of Uber as the #1 mode of transportation for all use cases. You will be responsible for driving our growth mission. You will help us achieve our goals of driving Rider growth by launching promotional campaigns, building a holistic Rider growth strategy, developing reports and tools to draw analytical insights, working cross-functionally to drive performance, as well as own some of our most challenging strategic projects.

As a Rider Operations Manager you will have end-to-end responsibility for the development, management and execution of your projects. Your work will have a real-world impact, instantly changing the way that people get around cities.

You Impact in Role

  • Launch Promotional Campaigns - With a deep understanding of our consumer insights, launch campaigns to generate maximum Rider growth
  • Analyze Data - Strong leverage of SQL and internal tools to Identify trends and build meaningful recommendations across new verticals
  • Build Reports - To help our team make better, faster decisions and identify opportunities.
  • Generate Insights - Based on the analysis, research, customer needs, feedback, and comments from teams
  • Lead Projects - Lead & execute meaningful projects that drive the business forward.

The Experience You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional project management and data-driven decision-making
  • Experience with GTM strategy development & execution for growing a new business preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects in parallel while delivering high quality of output and bringing innovative ideas
  • Ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment with a self-driven attitude
  • Ability to analyze data in Excel (Google Sheets) with an analytical mindset. SQL experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Fluency in Japanese (preferred)
