About the Role

Regulated Entities and Compliance (REC) is looking for a Regulatory Payments Operations Analyst who will be responsible for the implementation and execution of key processes, and effective governance of financial control activities across regulated payments. It will be your job to ensure efficiency and clarity of actions on regulatory compliance in the reporting and finance domain, and facilitate timely execution of regulatory requirements and remediations.

What You'll Do

  1. Perform a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining integrity of the reporting control environment within REC, e.g. data accuracy checks, daily liquidity management, calculation of the excess cash to be transferred to UTI and other tasks to maintain compliance with local regulations;
  2. Maintain and monitor key finance controls, ensuring that they are performed and evidenced in line with company and regulatory policies;
  3. Ensure alignment, consistency and accuracy of the REC Finance Databook and Dashboards, enabling local operations;
  4. Ensure alignment and coordinate execution for critical projects across payments domain including Finance, FRM and other teams as applicable;
  5. Assist in the implementation of new processes and cross-regional synergies in REC in line with new regulatory requirements;
  6. Assist in documentation, testing and remediation of controls across the financial domain;
  7. Monitor REC disbursements (scheduled, instant and wallet), tracking regulatory triggers for failed and successful disbursements;
  8. Assist in preparation of relevant executive reporting, e.g. monthly Finance Report;
  9. Manage and update documentation reference materials as required.

What You'll Need
  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a regulated payments role, as well as experience working with assisting leadership and program management teams;
  2. A strong understanding of fundamental accounting, finance and tax concepts;
  3. The ability to handle large volumes of data, create pivot tables to assess the quality of the data and draw conclusions;
  4. Strong understanding of risk management principles, and ability to design new processes and controls;
  5. Proficient Excel skills.
