About the Role
Uber Eats is seeking an experienced and results-driven sales leader to join our SMB Acquisition team as the Head of Regional Sales. In this role, you will lead a team of sales representatives across key regions in Taiwan, focusing on acquiring new restaurant partners. You will develop local sales strategies to attract new merchants and execute acquisition plans that align with company policies. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about driving growth in local markets with a clear sense of ownership and pride in the impact on the company's success. You will excel at solving complex problems at scale and managing large teams to deliver results.

- Lead and manage a team: Oversee a group of Sales Representatives, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and accountability in achieving new merchant acquisition goals.
- Monitor sales progress: Review sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and optimize strategies to drive new merchant acquisition.
- Address challenges and opportunities: Tackle challenges related to resource constraints or market dynamics, ensuring your team is equipped to overcome obstacles and achieve targets.
- Local market strategies: Develop, recommend, and implement market-specific acquisition strategies to attract new restaurant partners aligned with market, regional, and company objectives.
- Achieve acquisition goals: Consistently meet and exceed new merchant acquisition targets, driving growth and expanding the restaurant partner network.
- Foster collaboration: Ensure effective communication and collaboration within your team and across functions to achieve business goals and optimize results.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in the SMB space.
- 5+ years of experience managing large, high-performing teams.
- Proven track record of acquiring new business and consistently meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team development skills, with a focus on coaching and enabling performance.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to addressing root causes and scaling solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in sales or account management, ideally within the restaurant or food delivery industry.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics tools or CRM systems to support sales performance management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Taiwanese restaurant landscape and market dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and developing teams to meet acquisition goals.
- Strong understanding of local business culture, challenges, and customer preferences in Taiwan.
