Fleet partners are entrepreneurs who manage their own fleet of vehicles and drivers. They partner with Uber and play a major role in supporting our supply growth in a majority of North Asian markets. This is a unique opportunity, with a focus on building, managing, and scaling fleets for Uber platform in the region

As a Regional Ops Manager at Uber, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our fleet partner ecosystem to ensure operational efficiency and scalability. This role is critical in supporting Uber's growth by driving key initiatives that improve fleet partner performance, fleet utilization, and overall operational excellence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions, and enhance the experience for both fleet partners and drivers. The ideal candidate has a very comprehensive skill set. You'll also lead and anchor work with global product teams to develop tech to build world-class tools for fleets partners. Working alongside our Fleets and Taxi Leads, you'll shape, mobilize, and refine how we bring these alternative supply classes to the growth bets fueling Uber's continued expansion

Your Impact in Role

  • Fleet Operational Efficiency: Build and implement processes to improve fleet performance by analyzing fleet performance metrics including asset utilization, higher completion rates and find lower opex cost opportunities. Build strategy to cultivate a highly successful and engaged countries KAM teams to build deep understanding of the fleet business
  • Fleet Product:Launch world-class tools and tech to manage fleet businesses by working closely with the global product and tech teams
  • Fleet Incentives:Build strategies to launch incentives for fleet partners to increase supply during high-demand periods
  • Fleet Process Improvement: Identify and problem-solve inefficiencies in fleet operations workflows, from onboarding to ongoing management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable solutions and best practices
  • Project Management: Lead large-scale projects aimed at scaling fleet operations and introducing new initiatives.

The Experience You'll Bring

  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Business, Engineering, or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in senior stakeholder management, cross-functional project management, and data-driven decision-making
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Google Sheets), and other analytical tools to develop actionable insights from data.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with internal teams and cross-functional teams
  • Ability to take initiative and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for Uber's mission and an interest in the rideshare and mobility space
  • Knowledge of North Asia's market dynamics, Fleets, and Taxi Industry is preferred
