About the Role
The Manager for Public Safety Liaison, InSA (South & West), builds and maintains relationships with law enforcement and public safety officials, developing collaborative strategies that prioritise safety, privacy, and transparency. The role not only provides crucial support during critical incidents but also offers valuable guidance to the business on effective community safety initiatives. This dynamic position requires both routine and spontaneous tasks, demanding a high level of independence, being responsible for South and West India, including Sri Lanka.
What You'll Do
- Liaise with law enforcement and public safety leaders promoting a positive, open and collaborative relationship;
- Ensure the safety of our platform by effectively responding to incidents and providing direct support on complex and/or critical incidents;
- Provide guidance to law enforcement on how investigations can be supported in a legal and ethical manner;
- Work in partnership with the Public Safety Response Team, acting as a point of escalation when necessary;
- Collaborate internally and cross-functionally to identify actions to reduce risk, and minimise threats to our people and places;
- Travel as required across the region for face to face engagement opportunities, attending conferences and providing training;
- Produce accurate and timely incident updates, post-incident reports and briefing notes for escalation;
- Present data in an evidentiary admissible format and appear in trials as required;
- Advocate for the protection and privacy of users and other parties' data at all times.

What You'll Need
- 10+ years of experience with a law enforcement agency or prosecuting authority;
- Comfortable interacting with Law Enforcement & Public Safety officials at all levels;
- Experience in communicating findings orally and in written products;
- Skilled in various computer systems and internet technology (Mac, Google, online research, etc.);
- Expert identification of technical investigative avenues, particularly through communication and location data analysis;
- Ability to travel within the region as needed;
- Flexible and able to work non-traditional hours on short notice.
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years of law enforcement experience;
- Formal recognition as a Detective or other investigative professional with significant experience;
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge of SQL and big data analytics.
