About the Role
The Mobility Experience team plays a crucial role across all mobility markets in EMEA, working to shape customer-focused experiences that enhance loyalty among both drivers and riders, while also driving sustainable growth.
We are seeking a Program Leader to lead and optimize driver growth initiatives across EMEA Community Operations, focusing on new driver acquisition, retention, and supporting the transition to electric vehicles to help meet Uber's sustainability goals (100% EV in key European cities by 2030).
As the Program Leader, Mobility (Driver Growth) - EMEA CommOps, you will guide a team of passionate program managers who each focus on key objectives like funnel optimization, driver engagement, and electric vehicle conversion. You will manage a diverse portfolio of strategic initiatives that impact driver growth, bookings, and electric vehicle usage across the region. This includes end-to-end responsibility, from strategy creation to execution, using data and technology while collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. You will also be deeply involved in analyzing and improving the entire customer journey.

What you'll do
- Develop and execute the growth and sustainability strategy for EMEA Community Operations, aligning with our long-term goals.
- Turn strategy into actionable plans, maintaining high standards of operational excellence and utilizing metrics to track performance.
- Collaborate with product teams to optimize growth campaigns and enhance the driver and customer experience.
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, inclusive team.
- Work closely with senior leadership to influence and support strategic decision-making.
- Manage cross-functional relationships across different markets and regions to drive collaboration and alignment.
- Be accountable for delivering on growth and sustainability performance metrics in EMEA Community Operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in Strategy, Operations, or Management Consulting.
- Strategic thinking. You understand our broad strategy in Uber & Community Operations, can approach problems analytically, identify solution levers and propose an effective and implementable strategy.
- Strong business acumen. This team are the experts to understand drivers and their key blockers to drive with Uber. The KPI managed are business KPI.
- Stakeholders management. This role is highly cross-functional and needs to lead with influence across several teams and senior leaders
- Communication. Excellent communicator and highly collaborative
- Team management. Track record of building, leading, and engaging diverse teams
