About the Role
As the Product Operations Manager on the Earner Team at Uber, your fundamental mission is to champion the development of globally-first products that elevate the experience of drivers and couriers across the world. This strategic role requires you to ensure that our products not only align with Uber's broader business goals but also meet the specific needs of our global earners. You will play a pivotal role in guiding cross-functional teams from the initial stages of product conception through to their global rollout. Your leadership will be crucial in steering cross-functional teams through the lifecycle of product development, from conception through to global rollout, ensuring that every product decision enhances the earner experience in meaningful and impactful ways.

What the Candidate Will Need /Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Insight and Advocacy: Utilize deep business data and market analysis to shape the team's focus on product improvements that have a broad, global impact. Provide expert guidance to product teams on the scalability and viability of products throughout their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with international market demands.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Build and maintain strong collaborations with key partners across Operations, Legal, Tax, Policy, and Support departments. Develop comprehensive strategies for product launches and lead a coalition of strategic leaders aimed at driving significant business outcomes and addressing specific earner needs.
- Operational Excellence: Architect and refine operational processes to effectively support the execution of strategic product initiatives. Oversee the development and execution of thorough product testing and rollout strategies. Regularly monitor and analyze key business metrics post-launch to pinpoint areas for enhancement and secure product success across diverse geographical markets.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum four years of experience in product operations, product management, business consulting, finance, or a similar analytical role
- Proven ability to effectively engage with, & influence senior managers.
- Proven track record with leading large & global XFN stakeholder team, leading end-to-end global roll-outs, and business acumen (able to walk through how product changes will impact different line items on P&L)
- Deep understanding of the user experience
- Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum six years of experience in product operations, product management, business consulting, finance, or a similar analytical role
- Proven ability to effectively engage with, & influence Directors.
- Proven track record with leading large & global XFN stakeholder team, leading end-to-end global roll-outs, and business acumen (able to walk through how product changes will impact different line items on P&L)
- Deep understanding of the user experience
- Ability to use data to inform and support critical decisions
