About the Role
We're looking for a Dutch speaking People Operations Coordinator in Amsterdam to support our employee population in the EMEA region - someone passionate about finding ways to support our growing employee base best.
The People Operations Coordinator is primarily responsible for providing excellent service to our employees through tickets and taking care of the administration of lifecycle events in the Netherlands and some other EMEA countries. You help us improve our operations by identifying opportunities through data, standardizing, and simplifying our processes. In addition, you will be a subject matter expert in one or more employee life cycle programs.

- Provide high-quality support to employees by responding to questions and escalating issues as necessary
- Support the admin for all employee lifecycle events for various countries in EMEA (main focus: Netherlands)
- Ensure compliance with local labor law whilst executing processes and queries
- Support the New Hire Orientation on site in Amsterdam (e.g. invites, updates slide decks, facilitate speakers, etc.)
- Maintain and update data within our HR System, ensuring a high degree of accuracy
- Support the integrity of our data by running regular audits and reporting
- Manage necessary interactions and coordination with employees (incl. managers), HR stakeholder teams, and external stakeholders regularly for issues and processes around employment
- Assist with ad-hoc projects within the People Operations Team and other administrative tasks as assigned
- Identify operational weaknesses through data and process reviews
- Support with simplification of our work processes (e.g. standardization, automation, etc.)
- Drive a life cycle program as subject matter expert
What You'll Need
- Professional proficiency in English and Dutch required
- 2-3 years of prior experience in a People/HR Operations, Business Operations, or Consulting Operations role at either a high-growth tech startup or a large, well-established company
- Strong customer service and administrative skills
- Experience with a ticketing system
- Data and system savvy (experience with Excel or Google Sheets, system experience)
- Affinity with HR; we are curious to know why
Preferred Quaifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business / human resources
- Basic level of understanding of various employment laws in EMEA and their impact on HR matter
- Stakeholder management skills to collaborate with a lot of different (HR) teams to answer queries and resolve issues
- Process improvement to standardize and simplify processes
- Problem-solving in day to day queries and escalations
