About the Role
At Uber, our Operations teams are the heartbeat of the company. These teams take our global product and adapt it to local markets, making each region's experience unique. In this context, this role offers a unique opportunity to directly impact the growth and evolution of the food delivery category, as well as the future of Uber Grocery in Chile.
As a Growth Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for defining and implementing strategies around eater acquisition, retention, and engagement in one of Latin America's regions. You'll collaborate closely with local Territory teams to align on strategy and with the broader Operations team to leverage key insights and tools.
This role requires a blend of strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, effective execution, and the ability to work seamlessly with a diverse team in Operations.

What You Will Do:
- Strategy: Design and maintain a comprehensive roadmap of initiatives to drive acquisition, engagement, and loyalty for Uber Eats.
- Process Development & Optimization: Scale new and existing processes to support efficient business operations and sustainable growth.
- Budget Management: Strategically manage the promotions budget to maximize customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Product Innovation: Proactively identify and advocate for new features to improve the Uber Eats customer experience. Work closely with central teams to prioritize and tailor product rollouts for local relevance.
- Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, both local and central (e.g., Marketing, Community Operations, Policy, Communications, Legal). Contribute to long-term growth while fostering a robust global network.
What You Will Need:
Basic Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience solving complex analytical problems; experience in business consulting, investment banking, or other hyper-growth startups is a plus.
- Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to work with data.
- Experience using data for decision-making, with the ability to exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations and communicate effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Excel and SQL skills; familiarity with other databases and tools (e.g.Python) is helpful. Willingness to learn and use new software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of experimental design (e.g., A/B testing) and statistical methods (e.g., Incrementality).
- Proficiency in Python.
