About the Role
The Automotive industry is rapidly growing and we're looking for a dedicated Account Executive to own the growth of this highly competitive landscape. In this role, you will take ownership of building strong relationships within the industry, focusing on our largest automotive groups in Australia & New Zealand in an effort to capture new business. You'll use your deep understanding of how automotive dealerships operate and the priorities that drive decisions in order to uncover business initiatives and challenges to map back to our solutions. If you're a self-starter and take initiative to seize opportunities, this team is evolving every day and requires highly motivated individuals who are responsible for all aspects of business in their market.

The Impact You'll Have:
- Manage relationships with the largest automotive groups (OEMs) in Australia and New Zealand with a focus on new business acquisition
- Build relationships within the Automotive space, attend industry events and scale reach through partnerships and engagement
- Communicate the value of Uber for Business as a way to create efficiency, optimise costs and increase customer satisfaction with courtesy rides and parts delivery
- Lead and coordinate end to end sales motion including qualification, education, presenting proposals, and contract negotiation to close deals
- Build strategic relationships across the automotive space to gain positioning with decision-makers (top-down) while driving growth of new business (bottoms-up)
- Continuously assess customers' evolving needs and aligning Uber for Business's value proposition
- Maintaining a clear and accurate forecast through SFDC hygiene and regular pipeline reviews
The Experience You'll Bring
- An understanding and passion for the automotive industry
- B2B sales experience with exposure to understanding the full sales lifecycle and a proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals
- Strong presentation and communication skills to be able to confidently lead customer meetings and pitch product solutions with professional acumen and build stakeholder relationships
- Proactive and self-motivated with strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
- Strong use of insights and data based decision making to inform the sales process
- Ability problem solve, adapt, and grow quickly as we build the sales organisation
- Proficient in Salesforce, Powerpoint and Excel (G-suite equivalent)
