The Merchant team is responsible for acquiring, onboarding, account management, experience, strategy, and operations as it relates to merchants.
About the Role
Uber Eats is looking to grow the Merchant Growth team in Taiwan. As a merchant operations manager, you will be responsible for leading and driving promotion product success by ensuring smooth and impactful go-to-market strategy, optimizing resource efficiency, as well as enhancing SMB growth with scaling processes for our merchant partners while ensuring and maintaining a high standard of operational quality.
In this role, you will develop and execute key initiatives focused on scaling the promotion product adoption and quality for SMBs and acting as the product champion to work closely with the Global/Regional team. This role requires a data-driven mindset, analytical skills and strong program management experience who can partner cross-functionally to achieve growth targets and elevate our platform's impact.
Your Impact in Role
- Partner with our central/global product teams to develop product solutions and support product launches to meet merchant needs/use cases
- Develop, operationalize and measure strategies for scaled programs to enable Uber Eats to hit our strategic objectives
- Develop analysis and experiments to support business decisions regarding growth opportunities.
- Own, execute and optimize ongoing SMB co-marketing campaigns, manage multiple deadlines, and review campaign performances.
- Manage and optimize co-funding resource efficiency on a regular cadence, coordinate with Account Managers to track co-funding utilization and performance.
The Experience You'll Bring
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in operations, product, strategy, or project management
- Executional excellence/ Initiative and ownership: you manage and deliver end-to-end projects with autonomy in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines, and you have demonstrated ability to coordinate, plan and prioritize tasks across multiple projects
- Problem-solving and Analytical skills: you can interpret problems into business implications, break down problems into actionable pieces and develop meaningful insights from complex data in order to find solutions. You have experience with data analysis, impact sizing, and data visualization tools. You are highly comfortable working on Excel/Sheets.
- Teamwork/ stakeholders management: you work well with other people and can handle engagement with multiple partners from different teams, locally and internationally
- Fluency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong data management skills in Excel/Google Sheets; SQL proficiency preferred
- Some high-growth operations or startup experience is preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams such as the Account Management team, Marketing, and Legal.
