About the Role

As tthe Merchant Growth Manager, you'll be working with Enterprise AMs to drive growth of major merchants by understanding their goals and vision and building a strategy using Uber growth tools to achieve it. Working in the short term (next 3 months) to long term (next 3 years) to drive partnership and growth.

As our business grows in Japan, we need to ensure that we are supporting our Enterprise Merchants by helping them to grow their business quickly and efficiently. This requires deep expertise in marketing and growth strategy creation, using data led insights to create a compelling narratives connected to our Merchant goals.

---- What You'll Do ----

  • Partner with our Enterprise Success team and Advertising team to grow our top brands performance on the platform using our promotional products and other methods that ultimately drive orders and revenue
  • Partner with our teams to build brand level growth strategies based on their goals with Uber, to deliver growth on the platform in an efficient way
  • Use data to produce a strong insights suite that can further demonstrate to merchants their potential for growth on the Uber platform
  • Work to engage multiple levels of Enterprise organistions from CMO level to Franchisee level to influence and drive our strategies
  • Drive growth using promotional products, by working with Marketing to drive above the line activations, work with merchants to acquire exclusive to Uber items
  • Be a contributor to our annual promotional calendar in partnership with our Consumer growth and Marketing teams to ensure alignment exists and that strategy is connected to our Merchant objectives
  • Own and refine the GTM materials
  • Partner with our XFN stakeholders to support execution of their strategy.

---- What You'll Need ----

  • Native Japanese, Fluent English language skill
  • 4+ years experience in Account Management/Stakeholder management, with a history of building growth plans through to execution of growth plans
  • Commercial acumen
  • Growth mindset
  • Both strategic and executional thinking

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  • Experience in driving restaurant growth in a previous role
  • Experience in growing Merchants on another marketplace
