About The Role
The USC Brand media team at Uber acts as trusted partners and in-house subject matter experts to the broader Marketing organization. We guide Brand media strategy and investment across the business by leveraging our expertise in planning, the media landscape and thought-leadership to provide insights and strategic recommendations that deliver maximum impact. This is a critical role, ensuring organization and consistency across the broader team, including our agency, and reporting to the USC Head of Media.
What You'll Do
- Assist in the development of media plans that align with marketing goals and objectives
- Coordinate overall campaign and handoffs between global, regional teams and the agency to ensure timelines are met
- Create and distribute internal communications regarding media plans and campaign updates
- Partner with US&C media leadership to maintain process and documentation including campaign workbooks and budget trackers
- Act as a problem solver, troubleshooting issues and enabling quick resolutions
- Liaise with media vendors to ensure we remain up to speed on landscape and partner updates, new partners, technologies and opportunities - vet new vendors, work with agency to craft POVs

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in media planning and buying or a related media role
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with cross-channel media planning tools and approaches for mid-Upper funnel campaigns
- Detail oriented, particularly with budgets and plan details

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Strong time management and prioritization skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Curious and critical thinker, with a genuine interest in media and marketing
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$101,000 per year - USD$112,500 per year.
