About the Role

As the Head of Sales at Uber Eats Sweden, you will be at the forefront of the next phase of our growth with a big focus on driving restaurant selection, managing a team of Sales Representatives. You will be responsible for guiding and supporting your team to achieve strong sales results and excellent customer relationships. You will play a key role in developing strategies and improving how the team operates. This role offers a great chance to make a real impact and grow within the company.

What You'll Do

  • Hire, coach, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sales professionals; provide comprehensive leadership and managerial support, building a culture that upholds Uber values.
  • Regularly monitor progress and analyze sales data and key metrics to assess performance against goals. Communicate the findings to Sales Representatives and cross-functional teams; contribute to leadership-facing reporting.
  • Proactively identify areas that require improvement, and make recommendations for process enhancements, to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of sales operations by streamlining workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead our Sales Representatives with both short and long-term market goals in mind, ensuring the alignment with the broader Sweden Delivery strategy.
  • Ensure the right people and team's internal processes are in place to deliver on our strategy; proactively identify both risks and opportunities for improvement, and initiate action to address them, justified with relevant data.
  • Facilitate focused and productive communication and collaboration with Sales Operations and other cross-functional teams to analyze results and see opportunities to improve systems, processes, and programs. Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B sales.
  • Strong experience in sales and big team management, with a track record of developing people and teams. Ability to help, motivate, and steer the team to new heights and success.
  • Analytical skills to be able to understand the sales numbers, as well as other Uber business numbers. Ability to spot chances based on data, spot areas of improvement for sales representatives, and overall ability to improve processes based on data.
  • Ability to lead by example and with high energy, in a job that needs constant commitment and drive to go for targets, attain targets, and show resilience when hitting a low point.
  • Ability to zoom out and see the strategic big picture as well as zoom in to empathetically understand and help sales teams in their day-to-day efforts.
  • High standards for yourself and your team, with an innate drive to continuously surpass yourself, an appetite for risk-taking, and grit.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in other large consumer internet companies, especially in e-commerce or other online marketplaces, and/or start-up/scale ups.
  • Prior knowledge and interest in the restaurant industry.
