About the Role

Uber Eats is looking for a Head of Regional Merchant Operations for EMEA to lead a high-performing 20-member team, enhancing the merchant and restaurant experience across the platform. This role directly influences Uber Eats' mission to be the leading food delivery platform in one of the most competitive regions globally. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive operational excellence, product innovation, and safety enhancements to maximize merchant retention and platform engagement.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and inspire a team of subject matter experts to achieve shared goals in a dynamic environment.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve onboarding, lifecycle management, and merchant satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to inform roadmaps and create solutions tailored to local market requirements.
  • Enhance safety and compliance processes, ensuring Uber Eats remains a trusted platform.
  • Design and implement growth programs that optimize merchant engagement, including sponsored listings and promotional strategies.
  • Drive P&L-focused decisions and operational improvements to boost business performance.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to align regional and global strategies.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in operational, analytical, or strategic roles in technology, finance, consulting, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage diverse projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in interpreting data to guide decision-making.
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams with exceptional stakeholder management skills.
  • A track record of delivering measurable results through process improvements and innovative problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics tools and techniques, including proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience in P&L management and making data-driven business decisions.
  • Demonstrated success in enhancing customer experience and operational workflows.
  • Deep understanding of the food delivery or e-commerce industry.
