About the Role
The Growth & Operations Coordinator role is part of our Northern Europe rides organization. Together with the GM for Belgium, this role is responsible for making Uber a success in Belgium and helping our business in this market grow.
This is a hands-on and individual contributor role where you'll use sound business judgment, operational knowledge and a customer obsessed mindset to deliver to navigate an array of initiatives to drive growth and improvements for the Belgian business.
What the Candidate Will Do:
- You will work within the wider Northern Europe Rides Operations team to support primarily the growth efforts in Belgium. This may include helping to improve the driver onboarding process, finding new growth opportunities, and improving engagement and satisfaction of existing riders and drivers.
- You will act as the local implementation lead for our global and regional programs.

What the Candidate Will Need:
- Sound business judgment: Having a strong ability to objectively assess situations or circumstances using the relevant information in order to drive to conclusions.
- Project management skills and ability to execute quickly: You have a solid understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can execute projects under supervision with or without team members, in an overall organized, structured manner
- Strong communication and organization skills: Using interpersonal skills and situational awareness to clearly deliver information to a variety of audiences in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Customer oriented: Ability and eagerness to do the right thing- keen to truly understand and translate driver's and rider's behavior, needs and expectation.
- Problem Solving: Optimally resolving issues that involve people, things, and processes by using logic and common sense
- Partner Management: Taking time to build helpful relationships; earning the trust of others within the organization through strong situational awareness and reliability
- Open, curious and eager to learn: You are interested in all things and can build up skills and knowledge fast
- Adaptability and autonomy: You are adept at balancing priorities and projects in a continuously moving environment
- Forward thinking: We need someone sharp and eager to help us scale and optimize our current processes
