What You'll Do

• Responsible for end-to-end reporting and compliance from a local statutory and direct tax perspective.

• Plan and Co-ordinate Global STAT audits with the Global Auditors in a Shared service environment for key FSLI like Revenue, Opex, Payroll, FA, Current Assets and Liabilities etc.

• Work with the reporting teams to ensure the timely & accurate posting and reconciliation of the general ledger for each entity.

• Prepare local GAAP adjustments and finalize the local entity trial balances by analyzing and reconciling general ledger accounts.

• Generate accurate and comprehensive financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting notes and schedules.

• Preparation of financial statements following IFRS/Local GAAP in Workiva, a statutory reporting tool.

• Conduct flux analysis to identify and explain significant variances in financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Prepare summary year-end overviews, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, operations, and legal teams, to gather necessary information for financial reporting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations.

• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices.

• Display a strong knowledge of IFRS/IGAAP/US GAAP with the ability to stay on top of changes in guidance.

• Provide data and work closely with the Tax team on the periodic tax provisions and support for information related to tax assessments.

• Prepare the first drafts of our corporate tax return workings using the Company's internal templates and tools and working with our tax team to finalize the returns

• Assist and plan Statutory and Tax audits.

• Assist and interact with the external tax and accounting partners to meet local timelines.

• Participate in compliance calls with the regional team and work closely with the tax team to support all compliance activities.

• Engage with our compliance partner to ensure our business operating model and processes are understood with local regulations and requirements.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Accounting/Finance. CPA / CA / ICWA / ACCA equivalent qualification preferred.

• 4-7 years of reporting and tax compliance-related experience.

• Experience with Oracle R12, or another large-scale ERP or statutory reporting tool Workiva.

• Knowledge of accounting and auditing principles and practices, including GAAP and statutory accounting

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient in spreadsheet applications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to demonstrate innovative and creative solutions to tax issues.

• Contribute to process and technology improvements aimed at automation opportunities.

• Ability to interact with all departments and levels throughout our organization

• A self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent project and time management skills. Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines

• A "can do" mindset and will follow through on issues.
