About the Role

The Operations Manager role on the Financial Business team is an outstanding opportunity to help expand one of Uber's most innovative functions on the Financial Products Team - it is a role to increase and improve Uber's gift card operations across US and Canada.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Strategy: You will be in the team that owns the growth and PnL of the US and Canada gifting team. We expect the candidate to be proactive in order to find creative solutions for our growth challenges and remove road blockers;
  • Experiment: perform analysis and experiments to find growth opportunities for the Financial Products at Uber;
  • Develop & Optimize Processes: Scale new and existing processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and realize growth;
  • Analytics: Analysis of transactions and financial product features, payment costs metrics, guide incentive programs and ensure high-quality experiences on the Financial Product experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Immediate availability to live in São Paulo
  • English proficiency (fluent conversation with stakeholders in US)
  • Google Sheets / Excel advanced level
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management: Candidate must be organized and efficient to handle multiple initiatives and pushing them to the finish line with collaboration from multiple stakeholders;
  • 3+ years working in at least one of these industries/areas: gift cards, payments, fintech, strategy, operations, business development, banking, digital retailer or consulting (with a focus on commercial operations and/or marketing)
  • Interpersonal skills: Being able to manage and influence stakeholders, lead meetings, follow up to keep up the project's pace;
  • Problem solving: Candidate must be data-driven and be able to combine data with common sense to identify root causes of challenges faced by the team and propose concrete solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in one of the areas: Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business administration, Marketing
  • SQL proficiency
