About the Role
The Fleet Manager role is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact through growth and optimization of Couriers on the Uber Eats platform. This role calls for a combination of strong interpersonal ability, strategic and structured thinking, resourcefulness and strong execution to work alongside the team of Courier Operations.
The Fleet Manager's focus is to improve the courier operations in their city and will need to develop robust and streamlined processes to attract, convert, engage and retain couriers facing a multitude of complex needs and bottlenecks. This requires a commitment to operational excellence, a deep understanding of the courier lifecycle and economics, out-of-the-box thinking to drive high quality growth strategies and a customer centric mindset to implement high impact initiatives that will develop engagement. This role reports to the Sr Live Ops Manager and calls for adaptable profiles that are keen to take on different issues and demonstrate ability to push new initiatives, positively challenge the existing and make the role what they want it to be.

What You'll Do
- Stakeholder Management & Communication - Effectively work and communicate with the Couriers, Ops teams, external partners and more
- Process optimization- Oversee and optimize the tools and processes for the most efficient monitoring of the supply operations within your group of cities
- Problem Solving - Identify issues and "quick wins" and communicate / escalate these issues to the designated teams with a proposed plan of action
- Business Analysis - Structure and utilize data to drive decision-making, understanding and communicating trade-offs to various internal teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Team Management - Lead and develop a team of Courier Coordinators, promoting a high-performance culture and optimizing productivity across the organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 1-2 year Professional experience in Account Management/Start Up or Consultancy
- Highly autonomous - able to work with minimal oversight
- Problem solving skills: when you see a problem, you work hard and think out of the box until you fix it
- Capable to run analysis and/or understand data and transform it into relevant insights
- Good listening, communication and organization skills
- High adaptability to change and ability to execute quickly
- Collected and calm under pressure
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluent in Dutch
- SQL skills (ability to write queries and understand already existing ones)
- Speed, resourcefulness, and go getter attitude
- Curious and eager to learn. You are interested in all things and can build up skills and knowledge very fast to become a recognized subject matter expert amongst your peers
- Emotional IQ when dealing with partners
