About the Role
FinTech builds technology for Uber's Financial Planning & Analysis, Forecasting, Budgeting, Cost Management, Revenue computation, Treasury, Tax and Compliance services. Our technology enables automation of monthly closing of books, quarterly wall street reporting, accurate direct and in-direct tax calculations, provides Billing (Invoices, Receipts) services to our partners and regulatory compliance worldwide. This requires building and operating large scale services (trip scale), simple web and mobile user experiences, Automation of financial business process, ensuring accuracy, audit controls and completeness of data for financial and operational reporting and analysis.
This role at Uber is a unique leadership role, leaders at this level represent the top 20% at Uber and will have a profound impact on a wide variety of technology teams spanning multiple focus areas. We are looking for an experienced leader who possesses top class leadership experience in building and scaling robust teams who are responsible for mission-critical, reliable services. You will typically manage through leaders, and build critical cross-functional collaboration with key partners and product management. You will be responsible for the business critical impacts delivered.

--- Basic Qualifications ----
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
* Solid SQL and/or MDX skills; programming skills in Java, Go, Python, or similar
* Overseen multiple implementation experience of EPM solutions using such as Head Count, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, GAAP/Management Reporting, Forecasting etc.
* Hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS and/or IBM Cognos TM1 product suite for EPM solution implementation.
* Experience working with Data & Master data governance
* Domain knowledge of Finance, Budgeting and Forecasting processes, Long Range Planning and Management reporting
* Strong Linux experience, Linux tools, and libraries
* Agile Project Management using tools like Jira
* Strong sense of ownership, accountability and entrepreneurial spirit
* Great communicator, problem solver & confident in decision making
