About the Role

The Driver Operations Manager works with to attract, convert, engage and retain drivers on the platform. The Driver Operations Manager will support both Individual Drivers and Fleets throughout Kenya.

This requires a commitment to operational excellence, a deep understanding of Driver onboarding and economics, out-of-the-box thinking to drive high quality growth strategies and a customer centric mindset to implement high impact initiatives that will develop Driver engagement. This role also calls for highly adaptable profiles that are keen to take on different issues and will demonstrate ability to push new initiatives and positively challenge the status quo.

  • Driver Funnel Process Optimization: Own and manage the documents and processes required for Drivers & vehicles to join the platform.
  • Driver Engagement: Design and own process & content of a multi-modalty driver outreach program including in person Driver Roundtables, CRM etc
  • Fleet Management: Support new fleets and manage day to day relationships with existing fleets
  • Driver Satisfaction: Continually track and monitor Driver Satisfaction data, make recommendations on inititaives and interventions to improve. Track earnings and driver & vehicle costs.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor key performance metrics and prepare reports to provide insights into driver operations. Leverage data to inform decisions and prioritize initiatives for maximum impact.

What the Candidate Will Need

  • Min 3 years of work experience in a related field with analytical, project management and stakeholder management experience.
  • A degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Business, STEM etc)
  • Exceptional Analytical, problem solving, Excel (Google Sheets) and data management skills
  • Data-driven decision mentality and sound busine ss judgment through strong analytical thinking.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross functional teams
  • Ability to take the initiative and manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluent Swahili
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and other analytical tools
  • Knowledge of Kenya's Ride Hailing Industry preferred
  • Proven ability to set a strategy and see it through to execution
  • Client management experience is a bonus
