The Sales, Strategy & Operations teams drive the growth strategy and customer experience for our existing 70k restaurant partners.
About the Role
As Director of Sales, Strategy & Operations Uber Eats you will lead account management, and oversee our local strategy and operations efforts with a wide range of partners from very large global enterprises to local SMBs. You will lead multiple motivated teams across customer growth and operations, bringing great talent to Uber and creating a compelling employee experience for all of our teams.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role within the Uber Eats leadership team. We need an experienced leader and business manager to build a world-class account management team and who is passionate about developing our B2B organization at Uber. You are a highly motivated self-starter, a strong strategist who is skilled at translating ideas into execution and results, and an inspiring leader who thrives in a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
- Build and run a world-class customer organization across Taiwan, spearheading our efforts across account management and restaurant operations
- Inspire and develop your team and hire world class managers and leaders to Uber
- Be a strategic thought partner to our regional leadership team as we accelerate business growth
- Develop and execute on our account management strategy to scale our existing business and introduce a range of new products and deliver on multiple objectives
- Build out KPIs, metrics, and processes that result in an effective organization, in partnership with sales operations
- Drive quantitative data analysis and deep actionable insights
- Work closely in a matrixed environment with local operations, marketing, strategy, analytics, engineering, finance and other senior leadership in the region and at HQ to deliver on our regional strategy.
- Deeply understand local nuances and our competitive situation, serving as a key thought partner to country leadership and various stakeholders.
- ## Assess the restaurant industry landscape and market trends for growth opportunities.
What You'll Need
Must Have Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of robust B2B experience building long-term commercial relationships, ideally across both across SMB and Large Enterprise Accounts
- Track-record of managing and growing accounts, directly managing over USD 200 million in bookings
- 5+ years of experience leading distributed teams of at least 40 people
- Strong English & Mandarin communication skills
Nice to Hav e Experience
- Ideally, has experience leading a commercial transformation program.
- Relevant experience in other large consumer internet companies is a big plus, especially in e-commerce or other online marketplaces.
- Understanding Taiwan's restaurant landscape is a big plus.
