Global Sales Operations supports Uber's Delivery Businesses and is in the transformation process of moving to a centralized model. This newly formed team is comprised of regional sales ops and global sales centers of excellence compensation, enablement, compliances, systems and analytics, ~300 plus people across grocery, direct and delivery

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced leader who is passionate about the opportunity to build and scale our Sales Operations organization as we grow UberEats. The Director Regional Sales Operations Leader will work closely with General Managers, Sales leadership, regional stakeholders, and global Product & Systems teams to improve commercial performance, sales productivity, and efficiency.

What You'll Do

  • Be a key business partner for the US & Canada General Managers and Sales Leaders and identify, prioritize and deliver impactful initiatives to improve our commercial performance within those regions partnering together with global sales operations teams across Strategy, Compensation, Enablement and Systems/Tooling
  • Provide a strategic point of view on key business priorities and challenge the status quo
  • Build effective ways of working with global partners in Commercial Ops as well as our product and tech teams
  • Drive insights, target setting, planning, and operating cadences to support commercial strategies and execution
  • Own the implementation of sales systems, scaled processes, and data governance initiatives
  • Lead and develop a motivated and talented team of people managers and individual contributors within a dynamic, fast-paced matrix organization
  • Establish a culture of collaboration and execution excellence ensuring the team consistently operates at the highest standards

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, Sales, or equivalent roles
  • Minimum of 4 years leading operational teams and managing people managers
  • Experience with working with sales strategies, systems, data, and processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to manage and develop team members, and get results through people
  • Understanding of CRM fundamentals and experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC)
  • Skills for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and implementing tactics and process improvements
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to influence and gain consensus with senior stakeholders
  • Experience leading teams and achieving results within a complex matrix organization
  • Prior experience with a fast-growth enterprise software or technology company
  • Experience working with large sets of unstructured data and synthesizing them into business insights (e.g. using SQL, Excel, Salesforce)

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$194,000 per year - USD$216,000 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$216,000 per year - USD$240,000 per year.
