About the Role
Uber Advertising's Inventory Specialist will be responsible for identifying areas of opportunity across our inventory segments, monitoring sell-through and improving the visibility of available advertising inventory across Uber Surfaces (Mobility and Delivery). You will assist in inventory management by monitoring inventory and producing analysis via enhanced intelligence and controls. You will impact our business by analyzing large data-sets and exploring new business opportunities in addition to providing avails to streamline deliverables across multiple ad products.
What You'll Do:
- Support Inventory Manager by forecasting and monitoring inventory for Surfaces and Advertisers
- Be a resource for Sales by fulfilling bespoke inventory requests
- Play a key role on inventory forecasting to provide visibility of future available inventory that highlights inventory risks
- Work with Sales Ops and Sales on coordinating premium inventory bookings (i.e.: tentpole, SOV) and proactively flag potential inventory constraints and roadblocks
- Analyze and understand ad server inventory levers and their impact on overall forecasts
- Report on sell through rate to cross functional stakeholders on a routine cadence

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Economy, Analytics, Statistics, or related field
- 1.5+ years' experience in a digital advertising or technology, with experience in yield, planning or digital inventory
- Proficiency in SQL
- Proficiency in Excel/GSheets
- Experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in a digital advertising or technology, with experience in yield, planning or digital inventory
- Working knowledge of Google Ads Manager (GAM), Ad network/Ad exchange / DSP / SSP / Publisher
- Proven track record of partnering with Sales, Sales Ops, and Ad Ops to achieve yield optimization results
- Ability to translate data insights into business and go-to-market strategies
For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$95,500 per year - USD$106,250 per year.
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$106,000 per year - USD$118,000 per year.
