About the role
At Uber, the Data Analysts will have to help drive analysis behind decisions related to operations, process and optimisations. They will have to create, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist both internal and external operations. The role largely requires developing analytical frameworks to support the teams in company in new markets and products. They need to be a big-picture thinker and strategic partner. They also need to demonstrate analytical thinking through data-driven decisions and possess the technical know-how, fascination and ability to work with your team to make a big impact.
Basic Qualifications
* 4+ years of work experience in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline is mandatory

* Exceptional Analytical, problem-solving, Excel and data management skills; SQL Proficiency
* Strong Python skills, experience in data extraction & wrangling (numpy, pandas, plotly)
* Experience working with GSuite products (Looker Studio, Google Sheets, Google Slides, etc)
* Analyze large datasets to identify actionable insights, trends, and opportunities for growth
* Ability to self-serve, investigate, get the required data and expertise in data visualization/presentation (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio)
* Create automated reporting solutions for real-time data analysis and monitoring
* Strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways, and disseminate actionable insights
* Ability to work with remote teams and across time zones to develop strategies and foster a cohesive and creative work environment
Preferred qualifications
* Statistics & Data science - Should be conversant with basic Statistical Analysis (Regression, Classification etc) , A/B testing & Experimentation
* Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and an understanding of how Generative AI can be applied to data-driven solutions
* Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Google Cloud).
