About the Role

This role is part of the Core Consumer Growth squad within the Consumer Strategy & Operations team. In this role you will play a pivotal part in driving user engagement and retention. By leading strategic projects, campaigns, and retail initiatives focused on affordability.
You will be the voice of the consumer in key cross-functional forums, advocating for their needs and driving improvements across the organisation. Your work will be informed by consumer insights, guiding the strategy and execution of initiatives in collaboration with our Merchant, Marketing, and Marketplace teams. You will have end-to-end ownership of critical projects, from data analysis and solution design to flawless execution.
We're looking for a dynamic problem solver who thrives on tackling strategic challenges while rolling up their sleeves to get things done. Consumer engagement is an extremely cross-functional area. Success in this role will require strong collaboration, clear communication, and a proactive, results-driven approach.
Your impact in role:
- Own strategy and execution of consumer engagement initiatives aimed at making Uber Eats more people's first choice for more meal occasions
- Managing and designing the retail offers campaign calendar aligned to seasonal/cultural moments, by partnering closely with XFN teams (namely merchant & marketing teams) to deliver.
- Perform analysis to inform recommendations on improvements to campaign design, key strategic questions, and present to senior stakeholders
- Working with product teams to unlock additional in-app visibility for high-priority retail offer campaigns
The experience you'll bring:
- 3+ years of operational and analytical experience gained in a tech company, strategy consulting, e-commerce or consumer growth experience in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-centric thinking and meticulous attention to detail: a continuous improvement mindset, will be accountable for high quality deployments across multi user and channels. Exposure to consumer businesses is a bonus.
- Strong relationship builder and project management: You excel at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. With a demonstrated ability to own and work closely with cross-functional teams, plan and prioritise workstreams across multiple projects
- Analytical mindset and execution power: Experience dealing with complex data sets using excel/google sheets (SQL a plus), deriving insights, checking against what you see in the real world and synthesising recommendations
