About the Role:
You will use your analytical mindset to work with consumer operations, merchant, marketing, and finance to bring ANZ Uber Eats' consumer strategy to life. You will have ownership of tracking consumer investment as well as form views on spend efficiency and recommend where additional opportunities for investment exist. You will also take part in key initiatives including data analysis, solution design, and execution.
We are looking for a strong problem solver who is excited to both grapple with strategic questions and to roll-up their sleeves to get stuff done. Consumer engagement is an extremely cross-functional area, so collaboration, communication, and initiative are key to success in the role.
What You'll Do:
- Manage financial tracking and forecasting for the consumer portfolio of activities across ANZ
- Working with internal reporting teams to maintain dashboards and other data resources
- Evaluate promotional and campaign performance to identify opportunities for budget optimisation to maximise ROI
- Assess and drive strategic initiatives aimed at capitalising on new opportunities for growth and innovation related to Uber promotional activities
- Advocate for the ANZ consumer experience by identifying pain points and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance ease of use, reliability, and satisfaction to make using Uber Eats a delight
The experience you'll bring:
- Expertise in Budgeting & Forecasting: You're highly proficient in financial planning, with hands-on experience developing forecasts, setting targets, and performing reconciliations. You know how to hone in on the most material drivers of performance, ensuring your focus is always where it matters most.
- Exceptional Attention to Detail: With access to broad and complex consumer data across ANZ, you bring a deep understanding of campaign metrics and their nuances. Your ability to synthesize detailed information into a cohesive narrative is critical. You double-check everything, document rigorously, and consistently ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Analytical Thinking & Execution Power - SQL Required: You have a strong analytical mindset, backed by proven experience managing financial forecasts that flex with changing market dynamics. You're not just comfortable with data-you rely on it to make decisions. Advanced SQL skills are essential to your toolkit, allowing you to navigate and extract insights from large, complex datasets with confidence. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets is expected, but SQL is non-negotiable. You've consistently used data-driven insights to solve open-ended problems, often within high-growth, fast-paced environments like consulting, operations, or tech.
- Strategic Vision & Operational Delivery: You've successfully developed and executed forward-looking strategies in dynamic, high-growth settings. You take strategic workstreams from concept through execution, balancing macroeconomic context, competitive pressures, investment appetite, and operational capacity.
- Agility & Innovation: You thrive in ever-changing environments and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Your proactive mindset constantly drives you to innovate, seeking new ways to improve the consumer experience and enhance overall value.
