About the Role
We are looking for an individual with strong operational and analytical skills and strategic business sense. In this role, you will work in parallel with several peers to enable our marketplace reliability tooling, aiming to increase market throughput, by providing a better experience to Uber riders, while maintaining drivers engagement and satisfaction. This position can make a significant impact on business and change the way people move in Brazil.
What you'll do:
- Manage the reliability products portfolio.
- Analyze, monitor and optimize their performance, solve issues and escalate bugs.
- Work alongside tech in experimentation and development of tooling.
- Strategic Ownership: Help develop, lead, and implement a strategy to improve our reliability products portfolio.
- Business Sense: Monitor, understand, and interpret key operational and financial metrics to help figure out strategy and action plans. Develop and apply an understanding of the levers that move our business.
- Problem Solving: Identify the root cause of risks and opportunities, propose multiple, practical solutions, and weigh tradeoffs to recommend the best approach to bring efficiencies and growth to our product portfolio.
- Process Optimization: Implement, optimize, and scale core analyses and processes across the country, regularly reviewing performance for all products.
- Product Improvement: Proactively search for new features or improvements that could improve the experience and efficiency of our marketplace, measure their impact, and collaborate with Regional teams to implement launches in the region
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain productive working relationships with immediate team and cross-functional partners across operations, marketing, customer support, product, policy, and legal to scope, test and implement initiatives.

What you'll need:
- 3 to 5 years of quantitative experience in consultin, operations, business analysis, business intelligence
- SQL is required, not negotiable.
- Python or R are a nice plus.
- Advanced english, is a must.
- Data-driven decision mentality through strong analytical thinking
- Communication: Able to interpret and present data to various audiences in an engaging and comprehensive, yet concise manner
- Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities. Maintains healthy working relationships, even in disagreements.
- Planning & Organization: Ability to create detailed project plans with project stages, milestones, basic interdependencies, and owners.
