About the Role

The Uber for Business team brings the very best of Uber's portfolio of solutions to organizations. The segments supported by our BDRs are highly diverse and varied set of industry verticals, touches many different buying personas who see value and have a need for Uber's business solutions, and is in a period of hyper growth. The Business Development Representative role is a critical part of our ability to identify, qualify and serve customers in this segment, and plays an important role in ensuring we have a consistent, strong pipeline of new prospects and opportunities to fuel growth.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

What the Candidate Will Do

  1. Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline and quality sales opportunities with assigned Mid-Market Account Executives
  2. Research and develop Mid-Market & Enterprise accounts (200-2000 employees)
  3. Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, Groove flows and marketing campaigns
  4. Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that are not limited to, but including set expectations of Sales Qualified Leads (SQL's) per month, and average deal size of those opportunities
  5. Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the Uber for Business value proposition
  6. Conduct high-level conversations with key buying personas at targeted Mid-Market client accounts
  7. Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using Salesforce
  8. Work closely with Account Executives and sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
  9. Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and make recommendations to more effectively close sales and ensure customer dedication
  10. Work effectively with internal departments to deliver the best solution for the client and ensure a magical experience

Basic Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's Degree + sales/BD/Other relevant internship OR Minimum 12+ months in Business Development role.
  2. Fluent in Spanish and English, Additional languages like Italian and Portuguese are a plus!

Preferred Qualifications
  1. Business to Business BDR experience
  2. Experience using a CRM (ex: Salesforce) to manage daily activities
  3. Experience using outreach tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info and Groove, etc.)
  4. Experience with email campaigns
  5. Experience supporting multiple Account Executives
  6. Ability to build outstanding customer relationships
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
