About the Role
An exciting opportunity to join the Uber for Business UK team as a Business Development Representative (BDR). You will work with and learn from senior salespeople (who consistently are top of the global leaderboard) to hone your sales skills and generate new business opportunities for the team.
Successful BDRs have the opportunity to progress into a full sales cycle Account executive role. Three of the team have been promoted from BDRs into AEs in the last 7 months.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Generate new business opportunities to fuel the pipeline in an assigned vertical or territory and partner with assigned Account Executives
- Outbound prospecting via cold calling, email, and marketing campaigns
- Hit assigned Key Performance Metrics that are not limited to, but including 75+ outreaches per day and at least 25+ qualified opportunities created per month.
- Uncover a prospect's business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities, while highlighting the Uber for Business value proposition
- Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives at targeted accounts
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Uber, industry trends, and competition
- Manage, track, and report on all sales activities and results using Salesforce
- Work closely with sales management to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities for new business
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and make recommendations to more effectively close sales and ensure customer loyalty
- Work effectively with internal departments to deliver the best solution for the client and ensure an excellent experience
- Travel to attend tradeshows or other client meetings when requested or necessary

What the Candidate Will Need
- 1+ year of sales experience
- Bachelor degree preferred
- English language proficiency
- Self-motivated & extremely driven to succeed
