About the Role
As a Salesforce Application Developer in Business Applications team, you will be responsible for the implementation of scalable Salesforce related technical solutions and integrating internal and external platforms to achieve desired features.
These solutions will have a significant impact on Uber's results in areas of user growth, safety and global expansion. Additionally, you will also monitor, measure and fix any performance and quality issues
What You'll Do:
- Build and optimize Salesforce functionality for B2B teams
- Build and configure APIs with internal and 3rd party cloud solutions.
- Check in and deploy code and configurations; participate in release management
- Improve and build solutions to address architectural gaps or technical debt
- Participate in story planning, standups and retrospectives.
- Update and maintain technical documentation for business and compliance purposes
- Monitor, assess and report on Salesforce system health and usage. Identify needed system improvements related to performance and scalability and refactor existing sub-optimal features.
- Execute with a team of solution architects, program managers and engineers.

What You'll Need:
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning, visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, Synchronous and Async processes.
- 4+ years of Salesforce application development experience.
- Experienced with Salesforce SOAP API, REST API, and BULK API.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce APIs and its integration capabilities.
- Experienced with Web UI frameworks in Lightning components.
- Strong command on Salesforce platform, its capabilities and limitations.
- Good understanding of Object oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment.
- Passion for technology, industry research and enjoys solving business problems.
