About the Role

The Uber for Business Team is looking for a mid-market account executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a book of business across Australia and New Zealand to prospect into, manage, own through the full sales cycle and ultimately acquire. You will work with a cross-functional, high-performing team based in Sydney and play an essential role in building our Mid-Market (>250 employees) presence in ANZ. We are especially looking for candidates who have a deep understanding of how automotive dealerships operative in order to build relationships with the largest OEM's and automotive groups in ANZ through a top-down and bottom-up approach.

Your Impact in Role

  • Creatively prospect into the top automotive dealerships within Australia & New Zealand
  • Communicate the value of the Uber for Business product suite to prospects with a consultative and solution oriented approach
  • Lead and coordinate end to end sales motion including qualification, education, presenting proposals, and contract negotiation to close deals
  • Executive presence and skills to communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline via Salesforce CRM
  • Achieve and consistently exceed sales goals
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure a successful onboarding, launch, and long-term success of our clients programs

The Experience You'll Bring

  • Solid B2B sales experience with exposure to understanding the full sales lifecycle and a proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong use of insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong organisational skills
