Maintenance Manager

Trulite is GROWING! We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to be based at our Dallas, NC location. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for maintaining plant manufacturing operations with a team of maintenance mechanics/technicians. Focus on safe, efficient, reliable maintenance and operation of equipment to ensure the production of quality products and machine up time. The person filling this position must be adaptable to ever changing business environments and departmental need changes as well as inter departmental, general business and customer communication and confidentiality. This is a hands-on Maintenance Manager role, not a desk-based position.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Advises management of new developments which may affect profit, schedule, costs, and/or departmental relations.
- Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance of electric-power generating equipment, and transmission, distribution, and control equipment of electric power utility.
- Confers and Supervises with contractors to resolve problems in installation of new equipment, servicing, and repairing equipment and to assist in start of new plants or additions.
- Reviews inspection and repair reports and observes progress of work on major overhauls to evaluate efficiency and work quality.
- Performs preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery.
- Communicate with operators from other shifts.
- Oversees/Supervises Maintenance department.
- Resolves problems using working knowledge and solutions that improve operations, and develops recommendations involving new techniques, technologies, or concepts.
- Provides direction and example for interpretation and application of company policies and procedures.
- Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance programs.
- Improve the reliability of the equipment.
- Troubleshoot Electronic PLC's Equipment
- Serve as a key resource for safety related issues
- Meet and exceed OSHA requirements for a safe workplace
- Purchasing and vendor relations
- Build and maintain CMMS systems
- Pneumatic/Hydraulics experience
- Welding, Fabricating, Machine tool experience
- Manage rebuilds/installations
- Industrial motors both AC/DC
- Providing leadership, coaching and direction to maintenance staff
- Lead continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing principles.
- Source parts from vendors and to substitute OEM parts with more economical options
- update older equipment
- Electrical skills to include 480Volt experience
- Provide input for capital projects including identifying scope, cost, and milestones.
Skills You Bring:
- 5 years manufacturing maintenance experience
- 3 Years Management experience
- Forklift/overhead lift certifications preferred
- Mechanical/Electrical troubleshooting experience
- Ability to solve mechanical/electrical problems
- Strong organizational skills
- ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Impeccable interpersonal adaptability
- Demonstrated experience in issue identification and resolution skills
- Strong leadership coaching and mentoring skills
