POSITION TITLE: Specialist, Academic Research and Educational Support

LOCATION: Remote US

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who we are looking for:

As we continue to grow globally, the Global Healthcare Partnerships team is looking for a healthcare partnership manager to join as an Academic Research and Educational Support Coordinator to continue the success of our Healthcare Partnerships team. In this position, the Academic Research and Educational Support Coordinator will act as a liaison between TriNetX and our academic hospital partners, by supporting their researchers in using the TriNetX platform for their research and publishing. You will contribute to the creation of educational material on use of Real World Data and generation of Real World Evidence for academic member institutions.

You are passionate about the use of real world data (RWD) in real world evidence (RWE), biostatistics, clinical trial engagement and clinical research and will draw upon their extensive expertise across the areas of clinical research to help our customers with their publications and research goals.

This role aims to stimulate the adoption of TriNetX within the research community and our member hospitals by creating self-sufficient users of our platform.

You must be willing to learn how to utilize our platform, data, and tools along with your own existing clinical information and skills to discover new approaches to solving challenging matters. You will work closely with the TriNetX Healthcare Partnership Managers who manage the relationship with all our partner hospitals to achieve your goals. This position will report to the Academic Research and Education Support lead.

What you will be doing:

Identify opportunities to promote TriNetX within the research community by:

  • Supporting researchers at our hospital partners with their use of the TriNetX platform for academic research and collaboration. Assist in running RWD analysis.
  • Developing educational content on RWE research and stimulate the use of TriNetX tools in academic courses and other educational programs.
  • Connecting researchers at our partner institutes (internationally), stimulating collaboration.
  • Use subject matter expertise in public health, epidemiology, or biomedical and health sciences to understand the needs of researchers for running their own RWE studies (defining and testing hypotheses).
  • Be an expert in using the TriNetX platform and data, provide feedback to TriNetX product teams on how we can bring additional value to our healthcare partners.
  • Support peer-reviewed publication submission
  • Travel 25% of the time

Qualifications:

  • MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics or equivalent through experience.
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills, with a commitment to accuracy and acute attention to detail. Understanding and exposure to real world data, real world evidence and health research in general.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively convey hard to explain concepts in simple terms.
  • Ability to work independently on reaching objectives, time management and organizational skills; while still being a collaborative team player with other groups within the department and company.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience experience working at a US Healthcare Organization
  • Academic experience in teaching or publishing.
  • Previous experience in clinical research or patient data including clinical information systems, EMR, claims, etc.
  • Knowledge of the Spanish and/or Portuguese language
