Position Title: Senior Director, Channel Partnerships

Location: Remote US This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected when needed and local candidates are preferred.

Who we are looking for:

The Senior Director of Channel Partnerships will play a critical role in driving the growth and expansion of TriNetX by developing, managing, and nurturing key partnerships across the life sciences industry. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry and Real-World Data (RWD).This individual will bring exceptional relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. The player/coach leader will work closely with internal teams to align partnership strategies with the company's overall goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:


    • Develop and implement a strategic vision for channel partnerships to drive growth and expand market presence. Work closely with the VP Partnerships, and executive team to ensure alignment with broader company strategies.
    • Identify new business opportunities and potential partners that align with TriNetX's goals


  • Strategic Partnership Development:


    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. This includes channel partners; CROs, Consulting/Advisory firms and Technology partners.
    • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, including terms, conditions, and performance metrics that align with TriNetX's strategic objectives and enhance its market position.
    • Grow the partner ecosystem to meet & exceed sales goals and expand TriNetX's reach in the life sciences sector.


  • Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Build out and mentor a team of partnership managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
    • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, marketing, product development, legal and healthcare teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
    • Coordinate with product management to provide partners with the necessary tools and resources. Facilitate feedback from partners to inform product development and enhance product offerings.


  • Sales and Revenue Growth:
    • Collaborate with partners and TriNetX's commercial & marketing teams to develop and execute joint sales and marketing strategies.
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to optimize partnership effectiveness.


  • Real-World Data Expertise:


    • Utilize expertise in RWD to demonstrate the value and application of TriNetX's data solutions across various stages of the drug lifecycle, from R&D to post-market surveillance.
    • Educate partners on the benefits and applications of RWD. Advocate for its integration into their processes and projects with their clients.
  • Channel Strategy and Execution:
    • Create and execute strategies for channel partnerships that drive growth and leverage TriNetX's RWD capabilities.
    • Monitor and optimize partner performance to ensure alignment with business goals and maximize ROI


  • Market Intelligence:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that may impact channel partnerships.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis and partner feedback.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or related roles, with a focus on the healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and life sciences industries, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
  • Proven track record of developing and managing successful partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Strong business acumen, oral and written communications skills, and the ability to successfully interface and build relationships at all levels in the organization
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on collaboration and performance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
