Software Quality Intern
Job Summary:
Contribute to a wide range of quality control tests to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Responsible for testing some features, and applying the right methods, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement to software quality assurance. Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. Improvement of overall quality of scanning applications during the software life cycle. Contribute to the function design of our software applications. Interface with development team, product management, and customer support.
Measures of Success:
Contribute to the functional tests to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements
Follow the procedure to ensure the software quality
Contribute to the definition of the test plans and the creation of test cases
Coordinate, with the project manager, the testing plan
Participate in functional design and review phases of development team
Work with customer support to solve customer problems in required time
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor student in Geomatics, surveying, engineering, or a degree in a related field
Technical Knowledge - achieved technical and professional skills in land surveying practices. 3D scanning is a plus.
Analytical skills - recognizes a problem exists and works to find a solution, through a rational decision making process
Communication - Clearly conveying information, ideas, and opinions
Customer Focus - making customer needs a primary focus of one's actions; by identifying system features and benefits from the customer's perspective
