Position Title: Seasonal Warehouse Material Handler
Position Location: Dayton, OH
Work Arrangement: Onsite-2nd Shift-Monday-Thursday, 3:00pm-1:40am
Pay: $18.50/Hourly + 10% Shift Differential

What You Will Do

As a critical team member, you will work closely with Trimble warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to verify order accuracy using a written pick list, pack and process items to prepare them for final shipment and scan items into the inventory management system.

  • Assemble parts or products with precision and in accordance with provided assembly instructions.
  • Perform kitting operations, organizing and preparing kits of parts for assembly processes.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely.
  • Monitor the manufacturing process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to identify and rectify any issues with product assembly.
  • Follow detailed manufacturing schedules to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
  • Conduct inventory checks to ensure all necessary materials are available for assembly and kitting processes.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and participate in troubleshooting and minor repairs as needed.
What You Should Bring
  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • One year of related experience in warehouse operations, assembly, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous experience in assembly, demonstrating the ability to follow detailed assembly instructions.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and understand detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting problems or issues.
  • Accuracy in counting and weighing items.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reading and comparing written information.
  • Capability to work efficiently and independently.
  • Constant lifting of 20-30 lbs, occasional lifting/moving of 50 lbs.
  • Will reach, bend, twist, push, pull, and use hands, arms, and fingers to operate a hand-held scanner.
