  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the transportation and logistics sector across EMEA.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing commercial team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to drive individual and collective success.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including market research, prospecting, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, and marketing, to ensure alignment and efficiency in delivering customer-centric solutions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for growth and innovation.
  • Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements, contracts, and partnerships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate commercial performance metrics, KPIs, and financial targets, taking proactive measures to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices to ensure adherence and mitigate risks.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in commercial leadership roles within the transportation and logistics industry, with a focus on the EMEA region.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation and logistics operations, industry trends, and regulatory requirements in the EMEA region.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages spoken in the EMEA region is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
